This kind of statement - especially when we know the outcomes of the E-READ initiative - raises a red flag with me (not least due to the phrasing), so I dug a little. The alleged "some studies" on the benefits of online education refer to a single link: to an infographic by a company offering online training tools for companies! So basically an ad for online training for businesses is the basis to say that students will benefit from online schooling...)
